The student writes this obligation for the fourth year of study. By the end of the year, starting from the first year of study, the student is obliged to fulfil each of these obligations at least once:
(a) publication of a review in a professional periodical,
b) publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal or a chapter in a peer-reviewed monograph or a paper in a peer-reviewed journal,
(c) submission of a grant project,
d) active participation in a conference with international participation.
If the text submitted by the student under KVAR812 (i.e. a comprehensive text related to the dissertation topic of approximately 20-30 NS in length that has been accepted for peer review as a scientific study in a peer-reviewed journal) has been published, this is considered to fulfill part b) of the KVAR809 Additional Research Activity requirement.

Student si tuto povinnost zapíše pro čtvrtý rok studia. Do jeho konce – počínaje od prvního roku studia – je povinen splnit minimálně jedenkrát každou z těchto povinností:
a) zveřejnění recenze v odborném periodiku,
b) publikace článku v odborném recenzovaném periodiku nebo kapitoly v odborné recenzované monografii nebo příspěvku v odborném recenzovaném sborníku,
c) podání grantového projektu,
d) aktivní účast na konferenci s mezinárodní účastí.
Pokud byl text, který student odevzdal v rámci KVAR812 (tj. ucelený text s vazbou na téma disertační práce o přibližném rozsahu 20–30 NS, který byl přijat do recenzního řízení jako vědecká studie v odborném recenzovaném periodiku), vydán, považuje se to za splnění části b) povinnosti KVAR809 Doplňková vědecká činnost.
