1) Active participation in class and completion and timely submission of the worksheets (exclusively on google classrom, 48 hours before the next lesson). NOTE: Submission after the deadline may be considered a failure to complete the assignment. Three failures to complete assignments under the flipped classroom method are automatic failures to meet course requirements and preclude the awarding of credit. 2) 1–2 oral presentation in pairs (overall 15-20 min)/or individual presentation (10–15 min)- 3) Final written test or completion of colloquium. Based on the evaluation of the quality of the submitted worksheets, the quality of the presentations and the work in the classroom, regarding the achievement of learning outcomes the final control of studies in the winter term may be waived. The flipped classroom method is used in the teaching: students are given initial material to prepare at home, and then the topic is discussed further in the seminar. The active knowledge of the vocabulary and language skills of the lesson is subject to a test.

Each topic in the syllabus corresponds to an orientation topic for the presentation. All presentations must first and foremost meet the formal requirements of an academic presentation!!! For implementation + English phraseology, a set of Steps to an effective presentation is attached in SIS.
WITHIN THE WINTER TERM THERE WILL BE HELD COMPULSORY DISCURSIVE PRESENTATIONS! One topic will be shared by two students in one joint presentation (each taking his or her own point of view, argumentation and/or thematic contribution). Presentation topics of the respective lesson including a one-page handout for the rest of the class are required (15-20 minutes joint presentation strictly observed!).
Thematic headings and presentation topics for students of Art history / European culture history / Literature history / Philosophy/ Theology are based on Western Schools of Art. Texts focusing on specific Western artistic styles are the starting point. Specific methodological and linguistic exercises are developed in their context and must be completed and submitted to the teacher via email no later than 48 hours BEFORE the respeczive lesson! The topics correspond to the 12 teaching weeks (there are no presentations in the first teaching week): Theme 1: Romanticism Theme 2: Realism Theme 3: Impressionism Theme 4: Post Impresionism Theme 5: Expressionism Theme 6: Fauvism Theme 7: Cubism Theme 8: Dadaism Theme 9: Futurism Theme 10: Abstract Expressionism Theme 11: Pop Art Theme 12: Minimalism
The given topics of the syllabus will be alternatively supplemented and expanded (theoretical methodology, theological themes etc.) Last update: Makovcová Demartini Lenka, ThLic. Mgr., Ph.D. (18.09.2024)
