collecting, with the possibilities of presenting collections in public space will be analyzed. Current issues of museology and the changing phenomenon of spectatorship since 1880 will be discussed. The seminar will follow up on the Architecture of the 19th Century lecture series and will significantly deepen it. The expansion goes both thematically towards the 20th century and towards the student's learned skills. It will cover a practical ability to analyze the formal features of architecture and interpretation in the context of visual art and cultural history. Last but not least, it will be a deeper knowledge of specific important buildings in Prague and Bohemia and their anchoring in the social context. |
