The cycle of lectures in both winter and summer semester will be discussing the problematics of baroque sculptures. The winter semester will be focused on italian baroque sculptures of 17th century, especially on a work of Gianlorenzo Bernini. In the summer semester, we are going to look at selected chapters from baroque sculptures in Bohemia.

At the end of the winter semester testing the knowledge is carried out in the form of written test in which photos of selected artworks according to the syllabus will be shown. Students have to answer following questions: authorship, theme, date of creation. Three dates of test are given. Whoever does not success in any given dates must repeat the test at the end of the second semester to be allowed to take the exam.
