Annotation
The course focuses on the regional dimension of European integration. It addresses the basic approaches to understanding the nature of regional integration, with a specific focus on the European Union (EU) as an example of such integration. Attention is also given to the various actors involved in regional integration and cooperation within the EU, as well as to EU regional policy. The final part of the course is devoted to case studies, which examine the relationship between EU regional policy and the position of regions in selected EU countries.

The course is open only for students of master's degree programmes.
