Annotation - Czech
In the doctoral seminar, students present the topics of their dissertations, focusing on fundamental conceptual, methodological, and interpretive issues. Their task is to explain and defend their intentions in a discussion and to respond to suggestions and objections in a qualified manner within a given time limit.
As a rule, students enroll in Doctoral Seminar I in the first semester of their studies unless the individual curriculum provides otherwise. Regular and active participation in the seminar or completion of other study tasks as instructed by the seminar leader is a prerequisite for receiving credit.
