Students familiarize themselves with the manner and registry of cognitive strategies through which public policy and related scientific disciplines share in the identification of social problems and propose solutions. The course will above all delineate the field of public policy, its cognitive traditions, notions, methods, functions, and values. Students will be encouraged to work independently, to critically approach the literature, to produce texts based upon their own practical experience, and to react to the needs of the institutions they work for.
