During the first meetings, the basic topics will be discussed, which relate to (1) social science research in its current understanding and (2) the basics of the research plan, see the syllabus.
In the coming weeks, students will present working versions of their dissertation projects (it is not possible to use the June version). These will be discussed in the seminar. At the end of the semester, each student submits his / her dissertation project in a completed version.
Requirements for completing the course
Seminar work: During the semester, students must prepare a research plan for the intended dissertation. First they have to present their plan, at the end of the semester they submit a finished draft research plan (8-10 standard pages).
The finished project must be submitted to the course teacher and the supervisor.
