Annotation
The course deals with the concept of European public sphere and public debate in general, and with interest representation and lobbying at European level in particular.
The course aims to provide an advanced understanding of the European public sphere, place of the public debate in European decision-making and interest representation and lobbying in the EU. It should give students a sound theoretical background accompanied by a broad understanding of decision-making practices related to public debate and interest representation and everyday practices of European decision-making related to these issues.
