The course is intended for graduate students interested in modern British history, British politics, and European integration. It focuses on the development and specific characteristics of the British attitude to European integration, and studies them in a broader context of British foreign policy. Particular attention is paid to the post-1997 period.

Jeho cílem je seznámit posluchače s vývojem a specifiky vztahu Velké Británie k procesu evropské integrace a zasadit jej do širšího kontextu vývoje britské zahraniční politiky po roce 1945.
