Aim of the course -

 

 

·       to review and consolidate the knowledge acquired in the previous study of French (French for beginners)

·       to expand vocabulary and knowledge of grammar in connection with everyday life situations, especially student life and university studies

·       to gain confidence in speaking during common communication situations close to the student environment

·       to deepen the understanding of the audio through podcasts and video work

·       to expand knowledge of cultures and socio-cultural context

Course completion requirements -

Regular and active participation in classes, all assigned works submitted on time and at the required level (oral and written production) 50% of the evaluation

Successful 2 tests contrôle continu (40 minutes, 65%) or final test at the end of the semester (60 minutes, 65%) 50% of the evaluation

Teaching methods -

 Students are motivated to think independently about the language, to discover the grammatical rules of the French language, to formulate and actively use them in connection with the topics discussed. Special attention is paid particularly to the expansion of vocabulary, listening, and spoken production. Work in pairs and groups predominates.
