Annotation -

The course is designed for students who have achieved level B2 (B1+), Intermediate and upper-intermediate at least, and who wish to broaden their knowledge of French relevant to their field of studies.

Aim of the course -

The course serves to students to broaden the knowledge of French relevant to their field of studies: speaking and writing academic and specialized language :

- understand more complex journalistic and professional texts, podcasts and videos, summarize their content orally and prepare a correctly written summary in terms of form and content

- discuss social topics and be able to express competent commentary based on professional arguments

- improve the level of your communication skills in oral and written speech and distinguish well between general and professional language

- consolidate and actively use the more complex grammatical and lexical structures of professional language

Requirements to the exam -

To obtain credits, it is necessary:

to be present and active regularly in the classes, have all works in time : 50% of the evaluation

to pass 2 tests during the semester (Tests contrôle continu, grammatical and lexical, 40 min. 65% at minimum, be written in the classes) or pass the final test (60 minutes, 65 % at minimum) 50% of the evaluation

Entry requirements -

The course is designed for students who have achieved level B1+/B2 (Intermediate and upper-intermediate) at least.

The entrance test covering level B1+/B2 is obligatory for all students; the test will be written on Thursday, 3 October 2024 in JINONICE, classroom C 420 : 14.00, 14.50.,15.40 and 16.30.

It isn´t necessary to sign up for it.
