The study materials used in the classes are solely for the use of the students of the JLB009 course. Any circulation of the materials is prohibited. English learning and language development will be based on classroom discussion, debates, workshops, seminars and facilitated sessions. The teacher will frequently be in the role of facilitator but this task will also be assigned to students working in groups in various sessions. There is a heavy emphasis on oral communication in this course. |

MGR.MARIE ČERVINKOVÁ THE CREDIT REQUIREMENTS: Two essays
MGR.ALENA PROŠKOVÁ THE CREDIT REQUIREMENTS: 1. To obtain the credit, students are required to prepare for seminars (home reading), to actively participate in lessons, and to pass the mid-term test and the end-term credit test covering language crucial to the field of journalism. 2. Students may decide not to attend the course. They must, however, take both written tests and give one major oral presentation in the class. It is the students' responsibility to see the teacher to set topics and dates of presentations. Mgr.Prošková's CREDIT TEST: Points - 60, time limit - 60 minutes, pass level - 65%.
