Annotation -
The course will provide an introduction to the Stata software with emphasis on data analysis and management as well as application of statistical and econometric methods. By the end of the course, students will be able to use Stata in order to conduct all parts of a standard research project.

Syllabus -

Session times:

The course will run in a compact mode from Monday, February 12, 2018, until Friday, February 16, 2018. There will be three 80 minute sessions from Monday to Thursday and an exam + Q&A session on Friday. The times will be as follows:

Monday 12.2.: 12:30-13:50, 14:00-15:20, 15:30-16:50

Tuesday 13.2.: 12:30-13:50, 14:00-15:20, 15:30-16:50

Wednesday 14.2.: 12:30-13:50, 14:00-15:20, 15:30-16:50

Thursday 15.2.: 12:30-13:50, 14:00-15:20, 15:30-16:50

Friday 16.2.: 12:30-13:50

 

Requirements:

Empirical project 50%

Exam 30%

Short day-to-day home assignments 20% (4 HWs, 5% each)
