This is not a legal writing course. Rather than focusing on legal language, the course aims to enhance general (academic) writing skills of the participants. This objective should be achieved by:

1. making the participants aware of various genres;
2. providing useful techniques for effective writing;
3. highlighting grammatical issues with important stylistic implications; and
4. expanding the participants´ vocabulary (e.g. collocations, prepositions, verbs).

The participants will be asked to pass the final test and submit 2 assignments which will be corrected and graded. Based on the feedback provided by the teacher, the students will self-correct and re-submit the final version. Mandatory attendance of 70% is required.
