Annotation -
Xenobiochemistry studies the metabolic conversions of substances foreign to the body (xenobiotics), in particular medicaments and substances from the outer environment. It explains the causes of pharmacological and toxicological consequences of their presence in the living organism and at the same time it contributes to the fundamental knowledge for qualified activities of pharmacists and bioanalysts in the field of laboratory monitoring of drug levels.
