The aim of the subject is to extend the knowledge in the field of liquid chromatography method with an emphasis on modern trends in this field. These include ultra-high performance liquid chromatography, core-shell particles, monolithic sorbents, and high temperature liquid chromatography, new stationary phase sorbents, and detection-based mass spectrometry detection. From a practical point of view, the course will cover LC methods development and troubleshooting. An important modern trend includes supercritical fluid chromatography.
