Annotation -
Specific role of pharmaceutical chemistry is the study of structure-activity relationships between the chemical structure and biological properties of chemically defined substances and the use of this knowledge for the design and development of new, more efficient and safer substances. Pharmaceutical chemistry allow the prediction of biological activity, but also other characteristics necessary for the treatment, storage and practical use of pharmaceuticals.
