Annotation -
The subject is focused on forensic analysis and analytical toxicology in wider context. The subject matter will be general knowledge of various chemical, biochemical, molecular biological, analytical and bioanalytical processes as well as their application in practice in forensic analysis. Individual directions will be focused on: - interpretation of analytical data (NMR spectra, mass spectra, IR spectra, Raman spectra) in forensic analysis and poisoning diagnostics; - HRMS high-resolution mass spectrometry in the area of doping control and analysis of narcotic and toxic natural and synthetic substances, - HRMS in the analysis and identification of post-explosive traces; - use of fast LC / HRMS methods for early diagnosis of poisoning; - biochemical, genetic and molecular biological methods of tissue and DNA analysis for the provision of criminal records; - Short Tandem Repeat Polymorphism and Variable Number Tandem Repeats; - detection of bioterrorism traces and effects of the most risky pathogenic microorganisms - Detection of traces of nerve-paralyzing and combat poisoning substances; - identification of odor traces of explosives and narcotics using SPME / GC / MS methods; - counterfeiting, identification and detection of food origin; - Statistical data analysis.
