This module introduces basic economic and managerial knowledge to non-economists that can become an important element of a practical skill for many pharmacists in their future professional career. It deals primarily with the theory of management, accountancy and tax systems, health and drug policy and legislation, marketing and pharmaceutical industry and business operation.

Tento předmět charakterizuje význam ekonomických znalostí pro #neekonomy# v tržním hospodářství; právní formy podnikání a jejich ekonomické, daňové a účetní souvislosti. V teorii řízení se studenti seznamují s pravidly řízení zdravotnictví obecně a pak v aplikaci na zdravotní a lékovou politiku, marketing ve zdravotnictví, specifika řízení farmaceutického průmyslu.
