Annotation -

The central component of the subject is pharmacopoeial-analytical evaluation of drugs. Principal attention is paid to drug identification, assay, and tests for the purity of drugs. Instruction concerns the use of chemical and instrumental-analytical methods for the evaluation of therapeutic agens, auxiliary pharmaceutical substances, pharmaceutical preparations, and medicines. The analytical indices necessary for drug quality evaluation, factors influencing the stability of pharmaceuticals, and stability studies are taught as well.
