The subject Dosage forms I follows the Physical Chemistry and Physical Principles of Dosage Forms subjects. It introduces to students the specific operations used in the preparation and formulation manufacturing of dosage forms. It introduces excipients used in pharmaceutical products, the formulation and stabilization procedures, and methods for assessing the quality of pharmaceutical products, especially with regard to ensuring dosage uniformity.
Practical training enables students to acquire the necessary skills needed for evaluation of solid dosage forms.
