The subject is aimed to dosage forms and their systematic description, the role of excipients in medicinal products, formulation and structure of dosage forms in biopharmaceutical and technological contexts. The specific methods of manufacturing and controlled processes are decribed.

Výuka je zaměřena na tvorbu lékových forem s důrazem na jejich systematiku, využití pomocných látek v léčivých přípravcích, objasňování složení a struktury lékových forem v technologických a biofarmaceutických souvislostech, využití specifických farmaceutických výrobních operací a uplatňování farmaceuticko-technologických metod kontroly jakosti.

The specific dosage forms manufactured industrially are decribed such as sterile ones (ophthalmic & parenteral), tablets, capsules as well as dosage forms for modified drug release including drug delivery systems and targeted systems. The special seminars and training are aimed to knowledge used in dosage form development, manufacturing, and evaluation.

Přednášky seznamují s technologicky náročnými druhy lékových forem (sterilní – oční a parenterální přípravky, tablety, tobolky) a lékovými formami s modifikovaným uvolňováním, včetně systémů pro doručení léčiva na požadované místo (drug delivery systems, targeted systems). Speciální cvičení a seminární témata prohlubují znalosti specifických postupů používaných při formulaci, výrobě a hodnocení léčivých přípravků.
