Annotation -
The compulsory subject in the 3rd section of study of Pharmacy. Pharmaceutical technology 1 education is focused on dosage forms formulation with emphasis on their classification, properties and the use of excipients, elucidating composition and structure of dosage forms in technological and biopharmaceutical context. The practical training enable students to gain the basic skills necessary for compounding of preparations in pharmacies as well as in the large-scale manufacturing and the evaluation of properties of pharmaceutical products. Pharmaceutical Technology 1 presents the use of excipients, specific pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures and quality control methods for dosage forms.
