this subject is recommended to students who have finished Clinical Pharmacy while it requires active knowledge of this subject.
During the seminar discussion and bed site teaching students are pushed to use knowledge about effect and class effects of particular drugs, properties of disease, knowledge from Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmaceutical Technology (regarding properties of drug formulations) to recognize potential and actual risks (symptoms, measurement, risk behavior in prescribing, dispensing and use of drug), to guess of population and individual risk, reduce this risk and find the way how to solve it. Within the bed site teaching students are training their skills to communicate with patient additionally. Alongside discussion of algorithm SAZE algorithm ?SOUP? and Dader methods are being discussed as well.
Subject is finished by credit. To reach it ? students have to pass the whole programme and present three cases: each with break-down analysis of potential risks, their literature analysis and the way how to control and manage them.
