Annotation
Topic is focused on the introduction of students to basic principles of clinical pharmacology and to selected chapters of clinical usage of drugs. Case reports from clinical practice, demonstrations of therapeutic guidelines and new drugs within the area of interest are commonly presented during courses and lectures.

  2. The role of genetic polymorphism.
  3. Clinical pharmacology of heart failure.
  4. Clinical pharmacology of biological drugs.
  5. Drug dosage in liver and kidney disease.
  6. Dosage regimen prediction based on the pharmacokinetic principle: therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) and its usage in pharmacotherapy. Demonstration and practical exercises.
  7. Adverse efects of drugs, drug-drug interactions (overview).
  8. Clinical pharmacology of anticoagulant agents.
  9. Analgesics and antibiotics.
  10. Bronchial asthma and inflammatory bowel disease.
