  1. Behavioral medicine and behavioral therapy; History and development of behavioral approach (Pavlov, Skinner); Learning theories (classical and operational conditioning, negative and positive conditioning - rewards/punishments); Observation methods. Coping strategies. Definition of problem and definition of aim in CBT  (Štefančíková 3)
  2. Cognitive psychology and cognitive psychotherapy (Aaron Beck); Cognitive processes: cognitive events (thoughts), cognitive operations (contextual thoughts), cognitive schemes (appraisals and convictions), automatic negative thoughts. Using "stop" technique, attention aiming, cognitive restructuring, "falling arrows" technique. Rational-emotional therapy (Albert Ellis). (Štefančíková 3)

  1. Cognitive-behavioral analysis: triggers, emotions, cognitions, long-term and short-term consequents, modifying factors. Coping strategies Behavioral experiment: practice with attention aiming. Improve a stress reaction by controlled breathing, relaxation and projective technique - seeking for coping strategies.
  2. Behavioral approach in different branches of medicine. CBT of pain. CBT models of specific problems (anxiety, depression, eating and sleeping disorders, addiction); Psychosomatic medicine and CBT. The third wave in CBT: Copping strategies in treating with emotions. Compassion approach. Mindfullness. Acceptance and Confidence Therapy. Dialectic Behavioral Therapy.
