  • The ability for comprehensive patient examination, formulation of a treatment plan, and providing treatment.

Requirements to the exam

Examination

To participate in the theoretical oral examination of the final state exam, students are required to satisfy all prescribed academic criteria across all study years (sections) and successfully pass the practical laboratory evaluation and practical clinical assessment of the final state exam.

Syllabus

The student will choose one question, which contains four sub-questions:

  1. Description of the X-ray image, discussion of the findings, and therapeutic considerations.
  2. Clinical photograph of a pathological condition, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment plan.
  3. Clinical photograph of a patient with an oral mucosal disease, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment plan.
  4. Theoretical question from the list of topics – thematic area No. 2.

The exam assesses the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical situations, diagnosis, and the proposal of therapeutic approaches, including specific cases (pediatric dentistry, mucosal diseases).

Entry requirements

To become eligible for the theoretical oral examination of the final state exam, students must amass the designated credits through the successful completion of all stipulated academic prerequisites during their entire academic journey.
