Annotation

This elective subject represents student research activity at a preferred Department (after agreement of its Head). A research work (assistance) on a particular selected topic should lead to results which will be presented on Student’s research conference in May (condition for obtaining of credit points).

Presentation of the achieved results at the Faculty Student Research Conference (SVOC) or a publication (editor´s confirmation for publication) in a scientific journal (the student must be the first author).

Practical courses

No.1   Learning of the basic scientific methods, analysis of literature published to the particular topic, scientific work under the tutor´s methodological guidance, critical review of the gained results and their presentation.

Subject may be taken only if the Head of the particular dept. (where the student is to do the scientific project) guarantees that the conditions for doing this project in his/her dept. are met. Student has to provide this confirmation, that will also include name of the tutor, at the enrolment.
