Annotation -
After successfully completing the course in medical and professional German, students will be able to use the language in a German-speaking healthcare environment, in communication with colleagues, healthcare staff, and patients, in healthcare documentation, and will also be able to work with appropriately challenging medical literature. Among other things, the course prepares students for situations that may arise during practical training in healthcare facilities in German-speaking areas, during study stays within the Erasmus program etc. The course aims to motivate students to search for medical and professional information in German-language materials and to acquire basic knowledge of the German healthcare system, environment, science etc.
