The lecture adresses molecular backround of development of colorectal cancer with emphasis on its precursor
lesions, as well as the uncovered mystery of gastrointestinal stomal tumor. In both cases, the impact of precise
diagnosis on the administration of targered therapy is explained. Furthermore, the lecture adresses corelation of
morphological and molecular features of familiar cancer syndromes of GIT.
