The aim of this core elective subject is to provide students interested in a potential career of a pathologist with an
overview of the real routine work of a surgical pathologist. Technically, the students will be enabled to take part in
investigating the routine „one day pack“ biopsies in the „multi-head“ microscope, discuss the observed
microscopic patterns, and observe reporting the histological diagnoses.

Smyslem tohoto volitelného předmětu je poskytnout studentům s případným počínajícím zájmem o obor patologie
vhled do skutečné náplně práce patologa formou účasti v jednom dni jeho rutinního bioptického provozu.
Konkrétně půjde o společné prohlížení běžné denní dávky biopsií na „multi-head“ mikroskopu s diskusí nad
mikroskopickými obrazy a demonstrací uzavírání a hlášení bioptických případů.
