Lecture and seminaries. The topics of the lectures correspond with topics of paralle modules. The theoretical knowledge received in the course of lectures is used in seminaries in attempts to solve some highly questionable or problematic cases and with the help of the teachers are further reflected. |

Conditions for credit: 1. Obligatory active participation at 7 seminar of 11 scheduled. 2. Presentation of the case in seminar Case will be chosen from this textbook http://www.bioethicscasebook.sg/ Each case will be prepared by 3 or 4 students from groups 1 and 2. Participation at preparation of the presentation and presentation itself is indispensable condition for credit.
Presentation will have duration 45 min and should be prepared to lead the discussion for further 45 minutes. Presentation should be prepared in powerpoint or similar.

Cases for term 15th May 2019 (group 3 and 4) 8.00 – 9.30 am – Mrs. Khoo 9.45 – 11.15 am – Mdm. Lee 11:30 am – 1.00 pm – Mr. Yung
Presentation should have structure followed: 1. Presentation of the case 2. Describe ethical problem 3. Who are the players of the ethical problem? 4. What are/could be their inner interests in this case? 5. How these interests are to be defended? 6. How is the case commented by comments in bioethicscasebook.sg? 7. What is take-home message? What have we learnt?
