Immunopathology appears to be a substantial factor decreasing human fertility. Students will be acquainted with principal mechanisms operating in human reproductive tract, with clinical forms of immunological fertility disorders and with diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. The course will contain brief information on basic and special immunodiagnostic methods. Immunopathologic aspects of some gynecological diseases (endometriosis, preeclampsia) and therapeutic methods (assisted reproduction) will also be mentioned.
