Course Description: In this online course Human Rights and Medicine, the arguments that relate to rights, the history of human rights, some human rights (and medicine) cases, and Human rights and medicine documents will be discussed.

Course Objectives:

• To introduce to the history of human rights.
• To introduce some of the philosophical and theological arguments for human rights.
• To articulate the roots of human rights.
• To improve understanding of the idea of human rights.
