• Staff at healthcare facilities, be they hospitals or out-patient facilities, come into contact with waste daily, during all manner of activities. Completing the course should help find an answer to the question, ?What shall we do with it?? and bring nearer the obligations and responsibilities of waste disposal up to its removal or handing over to the relevant party. Waste disposal is also a subject of intense interest from the side of regulatory authorities.

• Another topic concerns problems surrounding the presence of Legionella in water in healthcare facilities and acquaintance with possible procedures against its appearance.

• A brief acquaintance with the methodology of evaluating health risks from water.

• Personál zdravotnických zařízení, ať se jedná o nemocnici nebo ambulantní zařízení, se s odpady setkává denně, při jakékoliv činnosti. Absolvování kurzu by mělo pomoci najít odpověď na otázku ?Co s ním?? a přiblížit povinnosti a odpovědnost za nakládání s odpady až do jejich odstranění nebo předání oprávněné osobě. Nakládání s odpady je rovněž předmětem zvýšeného zájmu ze strany kontrolních orgánů.

• Dalším tématem je problematika přítomnosti legionell ve vodě ve zdravotnických zařízeních a seznámení s možnými opatřeními proti jejích výskytu.
