Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the complicated statistical methods and procedures used in sciences and biomedicine in general. Students will known how to select suitable methods of quantitative data processing with regard to research questions, get acquainted with the ways of graphical presentation of the results of analysis and their interpretation. They will learn basic statistical software.

Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty s pokročilými statistickými metodami a postupy používanými v výzkumu a biomedicíně obecně. Studenti si osvojí používat vhodné metody kvantitativního zpracování dat s ohledem na výzkumné otázky, zdokonalí se se způsoby grafické prezentace výsledků analýzy a jejich interpretace. Prohloubí se jejich znalosti o nové moderní softwarové metody. Kurz bude konat 17. května 2023 (13-16.30hod) v učebně OVTD2 v Ústavu vědeckých informací.
