Periodontology and oral medicine

        seminars - 5th year of dentistry

 

1 Prevention of diseases of the periodontium, Oral hygiene and home care of the diseases of  

    the periodontium

2 Treatment plan of periodontal diseases in practice of a general dentist

3 Differential diagnosis of periodontal diseases, Classification of perio diseases

4 Periodontitis - clinical and radiographic picture,  periodontal pocket, periodontal abscess -     

    etiology, clinical features, therapy

5 Gingivitis (acute, chronica, ulcerative), clinical features, classification, therapy

6  Treatment of occlusion and articulation disorders in periodontics, principles of prosthetic    

    treatment of dentition with periodontal disease

7 Calculus, principles of scaling

8 Conservative   treatment of diseases of the periodontium, external and internal etiological  

   factors of periodontal diseases, anatomical etiological factors of periodontal diseases

   relation of orthodontic anomalies to periodontal diseases

9 Surgical treatment of the periodontal disease

10 Mucogingival surgery

11 Viral infection in oral cavity, herpetic gingivostomatitis,

     Differential diagnosis of acute ulcerative gingivitis, herpetic gingivostomatitis,
