Annotation -
Preclinical dentistry is a preclinical subject leading to the understanding of basic facts of all specialties of dentistry: operative dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, oral surgery, periodontology, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, preventive dentistry. Students learn about principles of science on dental materials used in treatment of patients, basic procedures for caries treatment, periodontal diseases, tooth extraction techniques and prosthetic appliances realization. Knowledge of basic manipulation with devices in dental office and laboratory. Student must be able to perform examination of the patient including X-ray reading and treatment planning.
