The purpose of the summer clerkship in pediatrics is to become acquainted with the basics of pediatric
propedeutics, physiologic aspects of the growth and child development, changes in clinical examination in various
stages of growth, and to familiarize oneself with the basics of preventive care in children from the newborn period
until adolescence. Another purpose of the clerkship is to give the students the opportunity to acquire or to improve
their clinical skills while all the procedures are performed under the supervision of an experienced physician.

80 hodin odborné praxe potvrzené školitelem. Praxe by měla být provedena v časovém limitu dvou týdnů. Praxe může být splněna buď na lůžkovém dětském oddělení vybrané nemocnice (dále jen DO) či v ambulanci praktického dětského lékaře pro děti a dorost (dále jen PLDD)
Výkony, které student během praxe absolvuje, potvrdí příslušné zdravotnické pracoviště do Logbooku = „Seznamu praktických výkonů “. Úplný seznam výkonů je uveden na webu v sekci Povinná praxe - Prázdninová praxe.
