The profile course is one of the basic study obligations of a doctoral student. It is related to the basic focus of his/her dissertation project and leads him/her to scientific and professional activity in the given field. The subject follows the basic profile orientation of doctoral studies and its disciplinary focus is chosen by the doctoral student following his/her dissertation project. The aim is to verify the students' knowledge of the latest findings in their chosen field of study, based on the study of the literature provided by the course supervisor. The content of the examination is a scientifically informed discussion of the latest findings in the chosen field, based on a study of the professional literature.
