This is a supplementary course to the basic language course and also serves as a preparation course for independent work with Chinese texts. The course consists of reading and translation of shorter literary and non-literary texts. Reading consolidates the most important knowledge of grammar and helps practice the ability to understand an unknown text. Emphasis is placed on vocabulary.

Kurz rozvíjí schopnost četby s porozuměním různých žánrů převážně autentických textů, literárních, publicistických a odborných. Určitá část každé hodiny bude věnována diskusi o čtených textech v čínštině. Na hodinách se také procvičuje hledání v čínském výkladovém slovníku a rychlá orientace v neznámém textu pro odpovědi na otázky o jeho obsahu. Texty budou studenti dostávat postupně.

Podmínkou zápočtu je aktivní účast na výuce, pravidelná včasná docházka (nejvýše tři absence). Úspěšnost v průběžných testech ze slovní zásoby.
