Cílem Lingvistiky pro romanisty II je seznámit posluchače s novými trendy v současné lingvistice, kde jsou data z románských jazyků v popředí zájmu. Vedle základního bloku kognitivní lingvistiky, generativní lingvistiky, teorie optimality a nejrůznějších teorií flexivní morfologie, budou středem pozornosti i aktuální otázky zmíněných směrů (např. problém flexe v generativní lingvistice a v realizačních teoriích; problémy fonologie a morfologie v rámci OT; kognitivní rozměry vybraných jazykových jevů – předložky, princip integrované metonymie apod.). Přednášky se realizují podel programu v sylabus.<br>
