The course consists of individual lessons (based on the textbook Nuovo Espresso 1) and of e-learning sessions in which the students will practice reading, listening, speaking and writing. One-semester course, 1 session of 90 minutes per week in the classroom, 90 minutes per week assignments in Moodle, homeworks and preparation for the classes. Please note: The course places considerable time demands on students. It is necessary to prepare for the course continuously, to complete homework on time and to learn current subject matter. The course is targeted preferably on doctoral students of the Faculty of Arts but other students can participate in case of free capacity, too. |

Overview of lexical units: Overview of grammatical units: - subject pronouns; present tense; alphabet; definite and indefinite articles; interrogative words (quando, come, dove etc.); cardinal numbers; regular verbs in –are – ere and –ire ; basic italian verbs (essere, avere, fare, stare, andare, potere etc) ; substantives; negation; prepositions; frequency adverbs; past tense (passato prossimo); past participle; possessive adjectives and pronouns. |
