This is a one-semester course, 1 x 2 lessons per week.

The objective of the course is through selected readings and interpretation of renown philosophical texts to develop English language skills in students as well as their capacity to understand certain areas of thought.

The course is intended for students of philosophy and social sciences as well as those who are interested in reading, interpreting and discussing philosophical texts.
Intermediate level of English (B2) is required. The course is open for international as well as doctoral students.

In order to complete the course (3 credit points), students will be expected to regularly participate in class discussion and complete two or three short writing assignments in addition to a final paper.
