The B1 examination tests active language competence at the B1 level of the CEFR, focusing on reception, production, interaction, and mediation.
Students demonstrate the ability to communicate independently in everyday situations, express opinions, understand main ideas, and mediate basic information between people and cultures. The aim of the exam is to verify whether the student has achieved level B1 in both receptive and productive skills. Written Section (approx. 75 minutes)
Assessment: The written section is worth a total of 35 points. To pass, students must achieve at least 60% (i.e., 21 points) overall, with a minimum of 50% in each component. Upon fulfilling these minimum criteria, the student proceeds to the oral part of the exam. Oral Section (approx. 15 minutes) The oral examination consists of the following tasks:

Students are given time to prepare before the exam. Assessment: The oral section is worth a total of 15 points. The minimum passing score is 8 points.
