Annotation

Kurz je určen studentům, kteří absolvovali základní kurzy minimálně pro středně pokročilé. Cílem kurzu je jak příprava na písemnou část zkoušky B2, tak i rozvoj této specifické akademické dovednosti s důrazem na anglosaský styl psaní odborných textů/esejů.

Náplň kurzu: Práce s různými typy akademických textů, seznámení s typickou slovní zásobou, frazeologií a strategiemi při psaní. Nácvik základních forem písemného projevu: odstavec, esej, formální dopis, článek, shrnutí, parafrázování, abstrakt.<br>

Atestace: Kurz je zakončen zápočtem, který je udělován na základě docházky, aktivní práce v hodinách, domácí přípravy a průběžného odevzdávání požadovaných písemných prací.<br>

ENGLISH VERSION
The course is aimed at students on an intermediate level and above. It serves both as the preparation for the writing part of the B2 exam, Ielts or FCE exam as well as for further development of this crucial academic skill. Through work with/on various types of academic texts different writing strategies will be explored, as well as the characteristic vocabulary, phraseology and grammar structures. The focus is mainly on essays, formal letters, articles, summaries or abstracts.
