Cíl kurzu: Kurz je určen studentům se se zvládnutou látkou lekcí 1-4 učebnice Rady for IELTS (blíže viz. Angličtina I. - Kurz pro mírně pokročilé). Cílem tohoto kurzu je navázat na již zvládnutou látku lekcí 1-4 učebnice Ready for IELTS, prohlubovat pokročilejší gramatické jevy, rozšiřovat odbornou slovní zásobu, zdokonalovat tzv. soft skills. Program kurzu: lekce 5 - 9 učebnice McCarter, S., Ready for IELTS (coursebook), Macmillan, 2010 This is a one-semester course, 2x2 lessons a week Aim of the Course: The course is aimed at those students who have successfully acquired the required knowledge of the units 1-4 of the book Ready for IELTS (in more detail see Angličtina I. - Kurz pro mírně pokročilé). Náplň kurzu: Gramatické znalosti: Budoucí časy, transitivní a intransitivní slovesa - trpný rod, podmínkové věty, reference v textu, modální slovesa Lexikální jednotky: kolokace s přídavnými a podstatnými jmény, tvorba slov - přídavná jména z podstatných jmen, slovesa vyjadřující odhad do budoucnosti, popis po sobě jdoucích událostí, kolokace - práce, podstatná jména vztahující se k místům, slovesa vyjadřující změnu, tvorba slov - předpony under- a over- Řečové dovednosti: vyjádření souhlasu, diskuse, telefonování, vyprávění, žádost o dovolení a o pomoc, pohovor Četba: práce s odborným textem, interview, metody rychlého čtení, vyhledání konkrétní informace v textu, pochopení celkové myšlenky textu, vyhledání autorových myšlenek, názorů v textu Poslech: hovorové dialogy (2-4 osoby), telefonické informace, interview, projev, monolog, kontexty: společenské, akademické Písemný projev: popis grafu - koláčový, popis procesu, argumentace - výhody a nevýhody, popis změn - sepsání zprávy, porovnání, vyjádření souhlasu či nesouhlasu s konkrétním tématem Atestace: Kurz je zakončen zápočtem, který je udělován na základě docházky, aktivní práce v hodině a úspěšného zvládnutí předepsané látky.
Content of the course: Grammar: Future tenses, transitive and intransitive verbs - passive, conditionals, referring in the text, modal verbs Lexical Units: Adjective/nouns collocations, word formation - forming adjectives from nouns, verbs of prediction, describing sequences, collocations - work, nouns relating to places, verbs relating to changes, word building - prefixes under- and over- Speaking Skills: expressing the consnt, discussion, phone calls, story-telling, asking for permission and help, interview Reading Skills: working with and understanding a specialized text, interview, methods of fast reading, finding a particular piece of information in the text, understanding the main idea of the text, finding the author’s ideas, opinions in the text Listening Skills: informal dialogues (2-4 persons), inforamtion via telephone, interview, speech, monologue Written Skills: graph description - pie graph, process description, argumentation - advantages and disadvantages, describing changes - reporting, comparing, expressing an agreement or disagreement with a certain topic Attestation: The course is completed with a credit, which is given on the base of the attendance, active work during the lessons and final credit test (based on the studied materials within this course). |
