Annotation

The focus of the seminar is on interculturality in Scandinavia, i.e. the interaction of different cultural groups living in the European North. In a diachronic perspective, the most important milestones of Nordic intercultural relations will be presented (e.g. the historical perspective on colonization and migration to/from Scandinavia), while in a synchronic perspective the current status of ethnic minorities such as the Sami or Greenlanders will be discussed.
