Annotation -
The course is primarily focused on the synchronic analysis of Scandinavian languages and the current linguistic situation in Scandinavia, but some diachronic topics will also be reflected in the course. An important point is also the relationship and interconnection of the three languages, i.e. Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. The topics discussed are mainly based on sociolinguistics, but some chapters on lexicology, morphology and stylistics are also included.
